The Home Run Derby features 8 participants in a single-elimination bracket format. Each matchup consists of timed rounds with the winner advancing to the next round.
Each batter gets 3 minutes per round to hit as many home runs as possible
Players earn 30 seconds of bonus time for hitting two home runs 440+ feet
60-second swing-off if players are tied at the end of regulation
Each player selects their own pitcher (usually a coach or family member)
